Now we are heading home, with a stop at Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford, CT.
Red Oak Trunk transformed in 2024 by

Sensory Garden for seeing, touching, smelling,

Herb Garden with categories of aromatic, culinary,
medicinal, and economic (dyes and fiber)
Witches' Broom Garden includes this
Pinus strobus 'Witches Broom'/Eastern White
Pine that was propagated from a mutant
growth resulting in a differently formed tree
Charter Oak (Quercus alba/White Oak) is
a descendant of Connecticut's original tree
that legend states was where the charter
from King Charles II was hidden when its
return was demanded by his successor
Homestead of the Bartlett family was purchased in 1913
by Dr Francis A Bartlett who cared for trees on estates
in the New York City area, and planted specimens here
Across the street is the Conifer Garden
Two types and colors of Hydrangea

seed pods of the Iris domestica/Leopard Lily
