We have most of the day to finish exploring Perth before boarding the Indian Pacific Railway to travel back to Sydney.

We decided to check out any animals of Australia.
Eudyptula minor/Little Penguin is the smallest species
of penguin in the world, and originates in New Zealand
Notechis scutatus/Mainland Tiger Snake is not only
one of 145 out of 220 venomous snakes in Australia,
but it is in the top ten of most dangerous snakes,
meaning its bite is fatal if untreated
It is said that snake bites are rare in Australia, and that you are more likely to to die from a run-in with cattle, horses, crocodiles, and kangaroos.
Acanthophis antarcticus/Common Death Adder is also
in the top ten of most dangerous snakes; it is unique
in that it reproduces through live births, not through eggs
Liasis olivaceus baroni/Olive Python is not venomous,
but as a constrictor it seems to like squeezing wallabies
Varanus giganteus/Perentie is Australia's largest lizard,
growing up to 2.5 m/8.2 feet
Tiliqua rugosa konowi/Rottnest Island Shingleback Lizard
Litoria spendida/Splendid Tree Frog; he might look
delicious but has a foul-tasting toxin

Took the ferry back to Perth, and the free CAT bus to Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip. We thought the museum had free entry, but it did not and we did not have time to make it worthwhile.
