Restrooms in the Alice Springs Airport had Dyson systems, with water automatically coming out of the center and airblades on both sides to automatically dry hands |
We had a 9:15 flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, a 2-hour 5-minute trip. It took us a while to find the correct bus stop at the Adelaide Airport, but were soon on a J1 bus, where we could use our own credit card to pay the fare.

We walked the few blocks to King William Street, and then a block to the tram stop.

Adelaide, along with Melbourne, is known for its trams; this is a Bombardier Flexity Classic tram #103 (2005); we made extensive use of trams in the free fare zone in the Central Business District/CBD |
We disembarked the tram at Victoria Square.
